Welcome to Scooberlicious Ultimate!
The Scooberlious Ultimate podcast is a passion project, an ode to Ultimate Frisbee, a sport, over the course of 25 years, I've come to love and enjoy...not only for the big plays but for the subtleties and nuance. It's a sport played with a toy, but this toy in the hands of athletes is an art form, and this toy in the hands of visionaries has the power to transform....and with a mic and enthusiasm, i wanted to capture a bit of the pulse and vibrancy of the SF Bay Area Ultimate community.
Over the course of 3 years, I had the opportunity to interview a wide variety guests...from players and coaches at the top of their game, to celebrating the triumphs of the next generation of players, to champions of social causes using Ultimate to positively move the needle forward for the better.
I lived and learned much from my many guests - over a mic, over a beer, on the sidelines or in studio - a lot of laughs and lessons learned...and I am grateful for your willingness to share your knowledge, to not take yourselves too seriously, and for your patience when ghosts got into the machinery.
